Release of a new version of PROD POINT 520 access point

13.11.2024 We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of PROD POINT 520 access point, which is a part of RealTraс local positioning system. This access point is a logical continuation of the system development within version 4.

The main differences in the new version are:

1. A single shockproof case manufactured in our Serbia factory.
2. IP67-rated case, providing reliable protection against external influences.
3. Improved vibration resistance, making the unit more stable in harsh environments.
4. Improved water resistance and serviceability by moving the access point RJ45 connector to an external cable.

In addition, the new access point provides a more reliable installation process, which significantly reduces the risk of damage to the equipment during installation and reduces the skill requirements for installation personnel. This in turn enables shorter production lead times and reduces the risks associated with imported enclosures.

The new access points have already been delivered to the first customers as part of the implementation of the local personnel tracking system.
