BASE AVD 680 is a module for assigning and functionally testing personal tags built into a miner's cap lamp. The module with an RFID card reader links the tag to an employee and, together with an access point installed nearby, verifies that the tag works correctly in RealTrac Positioning (RTLS) and RealTrac Collision Avoidance System (CAS).
Process description
- The cap lamp with the installed personal tag is charged on a multi-unit charger. The attendant removes it from the charger and hands it to the miner.
- The miner presents their personal RFID card to the module reader.
- The miner presents the tag mounted on the lamp cord to the reader. The positioning system detects the tag and links it to the RFID card.
- Through the access point next to the module, the tag is checked for operability and correct operation with the RealTrac positioning and collision avoidance systems.
- The system signals that the tag has been successfully assigned and tested, or reports an error.
Capabilities
- Linking a personal tag to an employee by RFID card when the cap lamp is issued
- Tag operability check before the shift starts
- Signaling of the assignment and test result
