RealTrac: safety, communication and efficiency solutions for industry
The RealTrac system combines several core solutions for open-pit mines, underground mines and industrial sites:
- RealTrac Positioning (RTLS) — tracking of personnel and vehicles.
- RealTrac Collision Avoidance System (CAS) — warning about dangerous proximity.
- RealTrac Driver Monitoring System (DMS) — detection of driver fatigue.
- Faster loading — a shorter loading cycle.
- Industrial Wi-Fi — wireless communication and data transmission.
Industries
Underground mining
Positioning of miners and vehicles, RealTrac Collision Avoidance System (CAS), underground Wi-Fi and voice communication, search under rubble, emergency alerts, vehicle telemetry and traffic light control on a single backbone network.
Open-pit mines
RealTrac Collision Avoidance System (CAS) for mining equipment: drivers and personnel are warned about dangerous proximity. Positioning of people in the pit and a system that speeds up haul truck loading.
Processing plants
Positioning of people at processing plants and metallurgical facilities as part of a multifunctional industrial safety system.
Overhead crane and personnel positioning in a workshop
Crane positioning and detection of a person under the boom.
Logistics and warehouses
RealTrac Collision Avoidance System (CAS) for forklifts and warehouse equipment: the driver and the pedestrian get a signal about dangerous proximity, and when connected to the braking system the vehicle slows down or stops. Full-stop tests were carried out on Toyota, Jungheinrich and Linde forklifts.
RealTrac Tunnel
Personnel positioning, voice communication and data transmission during the construction of tunnels and underground structures. The solution is configured for the site, and the infrastructure grows as construction progresses.
Oil and gas
Explosion-proof positioning of personnel at refineries, along pipelines and on offshore drilling platforms: evacuation control, SOS button, gas detection, collision avoidance.
Rescue services
A mobile rescue team outside 2G and LTE coverage: the location of staff and vehicles on the commander's map, SOS signals and alerts to personal tags.
