Man-down and injury detection

Man-down detection is the ability of the RealTrac system to detect an employee's fall at a site equipped with the local positioning system.

The personal tag the employee carries has a built-in accelerometer. The system detects a sharp change in the accelerometer readings along the X, Y and Z axes and sends the data to the server.

If an employee falls, the system alerts the dispatcher. The dispatcher sees where the fall happened and can send other employees or an emergency team there.
